Wanting more, a few years later, Jose accepted a role as President and CEO of Northwest Community Credit Union. Jose loves to get involved in the community in his free time. He serves as a member on many other boards in the Chicagoland area. Why I Serve? Jose works for the credit union industry which operates on the philosophy of “people helping people” resulting in personal and economic health.     < Back Nydia Gonzalez LCPC Nydia is a Bilingual Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is formally trained in CBT and specializes in abnormal psychology. She has worked primarily with adults who have chronic mental illnesses and those in the penal system. Nydia practices therapy because she’s intrigued by people’s different mental processes and likes connecting with her patients, so they know that someone understands them. She wants to work towards removing the stigma around mental health and normalizing it. In her free time, she likes traveling, meditating, and being outdoors in nature as much as possible.

Conducts comprehensive assessments to determine service needs and readiness for transition to Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), Supportive Living Facilities (SLFs), or Residential programs. Develops and updates Comprehensive Service Plans. A counselor by training, her commitment to providing exemplary care is rooted in cultivating meaningful consumer, family, and employee experiences. Jacqleen most recently held roles as the Director of Community Outreach within Medicaid-managed care and Director of Hospital Relations at a critical care hospital and ER. Jacqleen's passion for advocacy has provided opportunities to facilitate collaborations within the community to positively influence health outcomes. Jacqleen uses each of her experiences to leverage her critical understanding of the intersection of factors that influence health while cultivating relationships to drive diverse and inclusive culture. Jacqleen was awarded the "Courage to Change" recognition at Aetna for developing peer recovery roles within the managed care framework.
