Nydia Gonzalez

Nydia is a Bilingual Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is formally trained in CBT and specializes in abnormal psychology. She has worked primarily with adults who have chronic mental illnesses and those in the penal system.

Nydia practices therapy because she’s intrigued by people’s different mental processes and likes connecting with her patients, so they know that someone understands them. She wants to work towards removing the stigma around mental health and normalizing it. In her free time, she likes traveling, meditating, and being outdoors in nature as much as possible.
