Give Through A DAF
How You Can Help
You can recommend a grant to Association House of Chicago through your DAF at any time with DAF Direct.
How It Works
A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a centralized vehicle for charitable giving that makes it easy for donors to dedicate funds to support their favorite nonprofit organization. It also provides an operationally convenient and tax-efficient method for donors to manage their charitable giving. Make a charitable contribution to receive an immediate tax deduction and recommend grants from the fund over time.
-
Grants made to Association House through Donor-Advised Funds can be designated in one of two ways:
-
For use in a specific area that matches your interests, such as high school, workforce development, community health, or behavioral health
-
For use wherever the need is greatest
-
DAF Direct facilitates grant recommendations from donors of Fidelity Charitable®, Schwab Charitable®, and the BNY Mellon Charitable Gift Fund®. You can make a designation through the DAF Direct window on this page.
To make a DAF gift from another institution, reach out to your fund holder and nominate a grant to Association House of Chicago, EIN 36-2166961.
There are no fees for using DAF Direct - 100% of the funds transfer to the recommended nonprofit, with no administration or transaction fees for using the DAF Direct service.
