Clean Energy Jobs

How We Help

Clean Energy Jobs will help you kickstart your career in the field of renewable energy! In just two months, you will receive comprehensive training in solar panel installation, maintenance, and energy management.  With hands-on experience and expert guidance, we prepare you with the skills needed to succeed in this fast-growing industry.  

Our Approach

In this program, you'll learn:

  • Basics of solar energy and career expectations

  • Essential employability skills

  • Solar resource terminology and calculations

  • How to use electrical tools 

  • Worker safety and protection

You will also earn your first aid and CPR certification in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Additionally, graduates will receive a NABCEP Associate credential, an industry-recognized certification for professionals in the field of renewable energy.

Eligibility 

  • Ages 18+ 

  • Completion of all program enrollment forms

  • Physical ability to perform activities related to solar installation work, including but not limited to: standing for long periods (sometimes on a sloped surface), bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, working above the shoulders, working with manual and electric hand tools, repetitive motions, lifting and carrying up to 50lbs, working in direct sunlight, working with trip hazards, and working at heights

Participants will receive tools, uniforms, equipment, childcare, a training stipend and transportation assistance while enrolled in this program.

  • Current Class Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

  • Class Format: 2-Month Program, In-Person 

  • Expected Class Start: Fall 2024
