Ms. Jemina Lyle

School Culture & Climate Coordinator, YS3 Mentor, STLS Liaison, Student Advisor

How long have you been a mentor?

I've been at AHHS since 2015 but began working in schools in 2013.

What inspires you as a mentor?

My students - I believe in not only who they are but who they can be. I was given opportunities and chances by people in my life (specifically in school) and if I can provide even a fraction of what was given to me so freely to our students then I know impact will happen. I'm inspired by their resilience, their perseverance, their passion and their desire to do and be someone they can be proud of.

What is one fun fact about yourself?

I am one of 9 kids.
